How Projects Work

The process starts with a conversation about the business problem, the people involved, and the systems already in use. Custom software and larger technical projects are scoped separately from website packages.

  1. Discovery and requirements. Map the current workflow, gather stakeholder input, and define what a useful outcome looks like.
  2. Scope and milestones. Agree on priorities, deliverables, review points, and any phased implementation before development begins.
  3. Development and review. Build against the agreed scope and review working progress together. Discuss changes and their effect on scope as they arise.
  4. Testing and deployment. Check the agreed functionality and user flows, review readiness, and plan the launch.
  5. Handoff and support. Define the documentation, access, ongoing development, and support appropriate to the project.

Owner-Led Development

Work directly with Garrett Burton, the owner and developer responsible for planning and implementing your project. Questions, decisions, and reviews stay close to the person doing the work.
